Case studies
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)
VETASSESS developed an Assessment Information Management System (AIMS) for the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as part of the PAQTVET II Project in the Philippines (AusAid).
The system was developed to provide the ability for individuals to apply for a competency assessment online.
In addition, the system offered a comprehensive administrative system for staff in assessment centers to process individual applications, and for TESDA and other approved industry stakeholders to generate reports and monitor assessment activity throughout the Philippines.
Victorian TAFE Association
VETASSESS was engaged by the Victorian TAFE Association to design and develop an online system for staff and TAFE teaching staff to provide clarity around their job roles and responsibilities.
The system provides up-to-date information and resources on TAFE position descriptions for professional, administrative, clerical, computing and technical (PACCT) staff and TAFE teaching staff.
In addition, the project also involved development of an innovative product that enabled users to automatically develop, modify and securely store new position descriptions through a 'position description builder'.
