Government funded
Please use the simple checklist below to work out if you may be eligible for government funding for this service. If you live in Victoria and meet the following requirements you may be eligible for government funding:
- You do not already hold an Australian Qualification? (or an overseas qualification assessed as comparable to an Australian qualification)
- You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- You are an asylum seeker
- You are a holder of a Special Category Visa (sub-class 444, New Zealand citizen)
- You are a holder of a Temporary Protection Visa
- You are aged under 20 on 1 January this year.

Fee for service
If you are applying to have your skills assessed for national recognition it is important you are aware of the fees incurred. Our staff will let you know the qualification level.
If you are applying from interstate additional assessor travel fees may be required. A practical assessment may be requested by the assessor. In these cases our assessor usually travels to meet with you and to visit your workplace (if appropriate).
