Re-issue

A re-issue is a reprint of your assessment, with the current date.

If your certificate has been lost or destroyed contact us.  We can re-issue you with a new certificate at a cost of $75.00.

Re-assessment

Re-assessment against the same qualification is offered within 12 months of the first assessment being completed. There are a number of ways that you can be re-assessed. These include verification of on the job training or undertaking gap training. The fee for a reassessment will depend upon the service that your require. You can contact us if you would like more information on the fees for a re-assessment.

Appeals

An appeal can be lodged if the applicant has a grievance regarding the assessment process, or fairness in the way they were treated. The fee is $350.00.

If you disagree with the outcome of the assessment, you can appeal on the following grounds:

  • the judgment was not made in accordance with the assessment plan
  • the VETASSESS competency assessment process was not followed
  • you believe that you were unfairly treated or discriminated against.

Please note:

  • applications for appeal must be lodged within 14 days of VETASSESS issuing advice on the initial assessment
  • fees are non-refundable
  • the outcome of the appeal is final.
