 - General Skilled Migration (GSM)
 - Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
 - Temporary Business (Long Stay) Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) visa
AND
 - are a citizen (passport holder) from one of the nominated countries listed below
 - applying for one of the nominated occupations listed below

Points Advice for General Skilled Migration

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has introduced a new Points Test for General Skilled Migration (GSM). As a result VETASSESS is also able to issue a Points Test Advisory Letter for applicants migrating under the GSM. VETASSESS association with Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)

VETASSESS is an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO) conducting assessments for this program on behalf of Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). Ensure you are familiar with the VETASSESS Explanatory notes and TRA Applicant Guidelines before preparing your application. Go to download forms to access further information.

VETASSESS works in partnership with Kangan Institute and GippsTAFE

A skills assessment is one part of the visa application. Other requirements include:

  • employer sponsorship (temporary visa applicants only)
  • a minimum International English Language Test Score of 5 (IELTS).
