Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485)
VETASSESS offers a two-stage process for on-shore applicants who indicate they will be applying for a Skilled–Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485).
The first stage will lead to a Qualifications only Skills Assessment which may only be used to support an application for the 485 visa subclass.
For this process, applicants will need to hold a qualification which is assessed as comparable to the required educational level on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) for the nominated occupation in a highly relevant field of study.
- Group A and B occupations require a qualification in a highly relevant field of study assessed as comparable to the educational level of an AQF Bachelor Degree.
- Group C and E occupations require a qualification in a highly relevant field of study assessed as comparable to the educational level of an AQF Diploma.
- Group D occupations require a qualification in a highly relevant field of study assessed as comparable to the educational level of an AQF Certificate IV.
A positive Skills Assessment outcome from VETASSESS can then be submitted in support of an application for a Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485). To find out more about the 485 visa and eligibility requirements, please click here
