Important Notice
As of 1 January 2011, Applicants holding a Bachelor's Degree or above from the People's Republic of China who wish to apply for a Skills Assessment with VETASSESS will need to have the following documents verified:
  • Certificate of Graduation
  • Degree Certificate
  • Academic Transcript or Examination Results
Applicants who require the verification for an organisation other than VETASSESS should consult the relevant organisation about their requirements.

You may apply for a Qualification Verification on its own or together with an Application for a Skills Assessment from VETASSESS.

*Please note: Chinese Qualification Verification report is not an opinion on whether your qualification is comparable to the relevant Australian level qualification. The Chinese Verification report is a statement regarding the authenticity of your qualifications. If you wish to claim points for a qualification obtained overseas, please refer to our Point Test Advice


Qualifications Verification only

To apply to have your qualifications from the People's Republic of China verified you can either apply online or by mail.

You can apply as

  • An individual applicant
  • A migration agent
  • A corporate client, such as admission departments of educational institutions, employers, qualification assessing bodies and their applicants, professional registration bodies and their applicants and government agencies. Please refer to our Corporate Online Application page for further information.

  1. your application form is completed within 15-20 minutes and you receive an application record from VETASSESS within 5-7 minutes
  2. you can track and view the progress of your application
  3. you can continue your application at a later stage (within 30 days) rather than completing it all at once, as we provide you with login details

VETASSESS Skills Assessment for migration purposes with qualifications from PR China

Apply online

If you hold qualifications from P.R. China, you will need to apply for Skills Assessment AND have your Chinese educational documents verified.

  1. apply to have your Chinese educational documents verified as an individual applicant or a migration agent, and
  2. apply to have your Skills Assessed (Qualifications and employment)

  1. Download and complete the SRG1 Application for Skills Assessment form (PDF 547 Kb).
  2. Gather all required documents.
