Re-issue and Re-verification
We can re-issue the verification reports upon request.
If you disagree with your qualification verification results, you can also choose to have your qualification documents re-verified.
Re-issue of verification results
A re-issue is a duplicate copy of your verification report, accompanied by an official Confirmation Letter issued by Vetassess. It has the same effect as the original credential reports and is recognised by professional bodies, educational institutions and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
You may request a re-issue of your result if you:
- have previously applied to Vetassess for qualification verification
- have obtained Credential reports from the CADGEDC or CHESICC in the last twelve months (you will need to provide a copy of the previous reports to VETASSESS so that we can request the verification result from China directly).
Complete and sign the Reissue or Retrieval Request Form (CQV6) (PDF – 53Kb), quoting your file number, and send to VETASSESS.
The fee for EACH copy of verification report is:
- AUD $55 (GST inc) for applicants who are in Australia at the time of application
- AUD $50 (GST exc) for applicants applying from outside Australia
Postage is required for each address that the copies of reports are sent to. For more information please refer to Fees & payment.
Files of cases over three months old will have to be retrieved from our archive. Allow four to six weeks for this request to be processed.
Please ensure that you include your current address on the re-issue request. If you request the re-issued verification reports to be sent to other organisations, or have a deadline to meet, please enclosed a brief cover letter to notify our officers.
Requests will be accepted by post or fax only - emailed or verbal requests will not be accepted
Re-verification
The verification result, which is issued by the verification authorities under the Ministry of Education of China, is unalterable. However, you may apply for your qualification documents to be re-verified if you disagree with the result.
Please download and complete the Re-verification Request Form (CQV7) (PDF – 87 Kb), along with additional evidence in support of your case to VETASSESS.
When requesting a re-verification:
- you will need to submit new documents to be verified
- additional documents may be required
- verification fees apply to re-verification cases
- fees are non-refundable
The re-verification processing time is usually four to six weeks.
