Refunds and withdrawals
Competency profile application ($600)
* $100 administration processing fee will be charged if the applicant requests to withdraw the application prior to the assessment being finalised.
* No refund will be given if the request to withdraw is received after the assessment is finalised. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis and must be supported with accompanying documents, for example, illness/accident – medical certificate, death of a close relative – statutory declaration.
Practical assessment application ($1500/$1600)
1. Where an applicant requests to withdraw* from the assessment
*The term withdraw includes rescheduling to another assessment event.
* $100 administration processing fee will be deducted from the fees if the request to withdraw is received prior to the cut-off date (6 weeks) before the commencement of the scheduled assessment event date. In the case of rescheduling to another assessment event a $100 fee will be charged.
* $500 cancellation fee will be deducted from the fees if the request to withdraw is received 6 to 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the scheduled assessment event date. In the case of rescheduling to another assessment event a $500 fee will be charged.
* No refund will be provided if the request to withdraw from the assessment is received within 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the scheduled assessment event date. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis and must be supported with accompanying documents, for example, illness/accident – medical certificate, death of a close relative – statutory declaration.
* No refund will be provided if the applicant is a 'no show' and does not attend the assessment. This applies to reassessments also. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis and must be supported with accompanying documents, for example, illness/accident – medical certificate, death of a close relative – statutory declaration.
2. Where applicant requests withdrawal / refund due to a change in advertised schedule made by VETASSESS
* A full refund will be provided if the applicant requests to withdraw from assessment process within 2 weeks of any change made to the advertised schedule. There are no extra charges for rescheduling the assessment in the same country.
* $500 refund will be provided if the applicant books into another VETASSESS assessment venue in another country prior to the next assessment event scheduled for the original country.
