Gathering documentary evidence
As part of your assessment to become a licensed conveyancer, you need to submit evidence of your competency. This will help your assessor gain a holistic picture of your skills and knowledge.
What you will be assessed against
For each area of competence, you are assessed against an education standards document (known as a unit of competency) which considers:
- the specification of knowledge and skill
- the application of that knowledge and skill, and
- the standard of performance required in the workplace.
Quality of evidence
All evidence you submit must meet be:
- current – ideally should be from within the past 5 years
- authentic – your own work or relating to files/projects/contracts you have worked on
- valid – must relate directly to a unit of competency being assessed
- sufficient – collective evidence must cover all aspects of the unit of competency
