Re-marks

If you fail the Spelling and Comprehension Test or the Writing Task you can request a re-mark. Re-marks are not available for the other tests as they are marked electronically.

Re-sitting a test

You can re-sit any tests you have failed within 12 months of the original test date. However, we recommend that you do not re-sit any test for 3 months.

If you fail either the Spelling or Comprehension component, then both components must be attempted at the next sitting.

Please note: If you fail any test at the second sitting, you are not permitted to re-sit the test for at least 12 months from the date of the first sitting. You will be then required to re-sit all 5 tests.
