Skills Assessment Support


During the festive season, VETASSESS offices will close from Friday 22 December 2017 and reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2018. No SAS appointments will be available during this time. To make any future appointments, log on to the Skills Assessment Support Service portal and choose one of the options listed. Bookings are available up to four weeks in advance from today’s date.

Skills Assessment Support (SAS) services are for migration agents and prospective applicants who are yet to submit their Skills Assessment application to VETASSESS. The SAS services aim to provide additional and tailored support to applicants and agents for submitting a decision-ready application for general professional occupations assessed by VETASSESS. There are two different SAS services:

Consultation Service Document Checking Service
This service provides tailored information via a 30 minute phone consultation about the VETASSESS Skills Assessment criteria for occupational classifications. This service checks whether the documentation you are planning to provide for a skills assessment will be sufficient for a Skills Assessment application.
