VETASSESS has a new office in Saudi Arabia which will deal with customer inquiries, verification, and technical interview support in the Middle East.
KD International will represent VETASSESS and its parent organisation BKI Group. BKI Group incorporates Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute, Victoria’s largest TAFE, as well as eWorks and the Automotive Centre of Excellence.
KD International Managing Director Abdullah Saud Alghamdi said KD, a Saudi-Australian company, has considerable experience working with universities seeking to engage with students in the Middle East.
“Most of our staff are graduates of Australian universities and we see synergies with the work of VETASSESS and the BKI group.”
KD International staff will liaise with migration agents and applicants for skills assessments and represent BKI Global to government agencies and businesses seeking VETASSESS’ expertise in education and assessment.
VETASSESS Executive Director Rob Thomason said skills assessment applicants in the Middle East can now travel to Riyadh for their technical interview and KD will host masterclasses for migration agents in the region.
“We are looking forward to working with KD International to develop our business in the Middle East, where we have previously worked with government agencies on assessment and training outcomes in technical and vocational training,” he said.
