Through VETASSESS, Bendigo Kangan Institute supports national workforce needs by assessing skills across more than 350 occupations, helping skilled professionals contribute to industries facing critical shortages.

This comprehensive approach – combining education, assessment and innovation – continues to deliver strong outcomes for learners, employers, and communities.

The Victorian Training Awards celebrate excellence in vocational education and training across the state. The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in September.

Sally Curtain, CEO of Bendigo Kangan Institute:

“Being recognised as finalists in three categories at the Victorian Training Awards is a significant honour.  This recognition highlights the breadth of our work, from training and assessment to migration support and workforce development.

“By enabling skilled migrants to contribute to Australia’s workforce, we’re not only supporting individuals—we’re helping industries grow, communities thrive, and the economy remain globally competitive.”
