VETASSESS goes  All In for National Reconciliation Week 2026

VETASSESS is marking National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June), reflecting our ongoing commitment to reconciliation.

BKI All In For Reconciliation

Reconciliation is about walking alongside First Nations communities - working with and listening to First Nations communities to understand what is needed and how we achieve it.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to consider how each of us can contribute to reconciliation. The 2026 theme, All In, calls for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day.

What All In means at VETASSESS

At VETASSESS, reconciliation is embedded in how we work, learn and lead.

Being All In means listening, learning and acting. It means creating culturally safe environments and supporting better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our institute.

Reconciliation is practical, ongoing work and it is everyone's responsibility.

Putting commitment into action

At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.

Our reconciliation journey is guided by VETASSESS' Innovative Reconciliation Action Plan, which focuses on building strong relationships, embedding cultural respect and creating opportunities across education and employment.

In 2026, this work is realised through the rollout of our First Nations Employment and Retention Roadmap, strengthening pathways for First Nations people to build careers, lead and shape our institute.

This National Reconciliation Week, we invite our students and customers, staff and communities to reflect on what being All In means - and how everyday actions can help create a more inclusive and respectful future.
