Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) recognises skills acquired through formal and informal learning and work experience. The process assesses evidence of your competency to determine if you meet the requirements and can be used to award a formal qualification or credits towards a qualification.

Qualifications & Fees


Our RPL service fee is all inclusive and will provide you with:

  • Access to our simple to use, yet high-quality RPL tools and industry qualified experts who will support the assessment of evidence submitted
  • A dedicated mentor to help guide you through the process
  • Administrative support for enrolment, payment, issuance (and, if required, re-issuance) of certificates and statements, as well as progress reports and updates
  • Technical support to help navigate the online systems as well as troubleshoot any questions or concerns
  • Loyalty benefits, such as a deduction of up to 60 per cent in RPL service fees for additional qualifications

Fee Structure

Payment 1: Prior to submitting evidence of employment confirmation $1500
Payment 2: Prior to attempting knowledge assessment 50% of remaining balance; Up to $2745
Payment 3: Prior to providing evidence of required skills Remaining balance; Up to $2745

Enrolment Process

Timeframe

The RPL assessment process has three stages: 

  • Confirmation of Experience 
  • Demonstration of Knowledge 
  • Demonstration of Skills

If you provide payment on time prior to each stage, you will have 8 weeks to collate relevant sufficient and authentic evidence, and another 2 weeks for assessors to assess and provide you with feedback for each stage.
