On July 15, VETASSESS will resume accepting new applications for two trade occupations:
Electrician (General), ANZSCO Code 341111
Metal Machinist (First Class), ANZSCO Code 323214
We paused new applications in September 2023 so we could focus on processing current cases, and we are reopening these occupations following discussions with Trades Recognition Australia (TRA).
This applies to Pathway 1 and Pathway 2 applications under OSAP and TSS programs.

This is a licensed occupation in Australia, which means applicants require a practical assessment as well as a technical interview.
