Offshore Skills Assessment Program is assessment pathway for applicants applying for skilled migration visa to Australia who work in a nominated occupation and who hold a passport from a nominated country.
The Optional Service is a skills assessment pathway for applicants trained in trades overseas and who are not required to have a skills assessment, as part of a migration requirement. Applicants are generally seeking a skills assessment for the purpose of gaining an occupational license in a nominated occupation and be able to travel to a nominated country for an assessment.Successful skills assessments under the Optional Service may also be used for migration purposes where required, for example for permanent migration from eligible countries.
