Workers and students seeking recognition of work experience and/or qualifications against Australian standards for the purposes of:
Providing advice to national and international programs, policies and projects.
September 2021 - We are updating the assessment criteria for dance teachers, dancers and choreographers in alignment with Australian industry standards and practice.
These occupations will no longer require an AQF bachelor degree but will require an AQF level diploma. These are in the Group C criteria for employment experience.
The change should ensure that applicants with the relevant qualifications and work experience can get a successful skills assessment.
The new criteria will take effect from 1 October 2021 and we have updated our information sheets:

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are now conducting Technical Interview assessments online for all non-licensed trade occupations or Pathway 2 licensed occupations.
